Thank you to the veterans who were able to join us today and to Mr. Scott Lowe, Lieutenant Commander, Civil Engineer Corps, US Navy, retired who shared a few thoughts with us. We appreciate your service! Also, joining us to present colors was the ROTC cadets from Independence High School. We were very proud of our essay contest winners as well as they presented their essays. It was a great time!
